In 2020, Niene Copman obtained her master’s degree in criminological sciences from Ghent University. She spent her last semester as an Erasmus student in Leiden in the Netherlands. Due to her growing interest in law, she decided to pursue a legal education. In 2023, she successfully obtained her law degree.
Throughout her academic journey, Niene actively participated in the Ghent department of the European Law Students’ Association (ELSA), contributing to the department of seminars and conferences. Additionally, she took part in the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot, reaching its pinnacle with a moot court competition in Vienna.
In 2023, Niene joined DLPA Advocaten. Within the firm, she is dedicated to cases related to commercial law, contract law, and market practices.
