Mediation
Conflicts do not always have to be resolved by a court of law. Parties involved in a dispute can also opt for mediation. Mediation is a type of dispute settlement in which the parties appeal to an independent and impartial third party – a mediator – in a confidential setting. The staff at DLPA Advocaten also includes an accredited mediator who is experienced in commercial disputes, and is often engaged by disputing parties or appointed by courts of law. As a neutral person, she aims to restore the dialogue between the parties and to help them independently arrive at a solution to their dispute. DLPA Advocaten can assist you with this, as well as when you are participating in a mediation procedure.
