Consumer protection
A business enterprise that supplies consumers with goods or services must take consumer protection laws into consideration. A number of regulations pertaining to misleading and aggressive trade practices, as well as various special rules – in the event of agreements concluded with consumers online or somewhere other than on the seller’s physical retail premises, for example must be taken into account. In conclusion, the law also provides for a long list of unlawful provisions that may not under any circumstances appear in your general terms and conditions.
DLPA Advocaten will be happy to provide you with assistance and advice in relation to disputes with consumers and in drawing up watertight general terms and conditions.
