Public procurement and Public-Private Partnerships

Public procurement is subject to specific laws and regulations which stipulate, among other things, how public contracts should be advertised, tendered, awarded and executed. The application of these highly detailed regulations often requires specialist guidance.

In the course of time, DLPA Advocaten has built up considerable expertise in respect of the regulations that apply to the public procurement process, in which we assist both government bodies and companies in typical public contracts (works, goods and services) and other forms of collaboration (PPP projects, concession contracts, etc.).

Our team will happy to offer you support from start to finish in this. During the awarding process (prior to the actual execution of the contract) you can call on us to review or draw up tendering documents, conduct negotiations, contest the award decision before the Council of State or initiate proceedings before the civil tribunals with a view to obtaining compensation for loss or damage. Should you run into any difficulties (e.g. defects, delays) during the execution phase of a public contract, DLPA Advocaten can advise you and serve as your legal counsel in legal proceedings.
