In 2021, Astrid graduated with a master's degree in law from Ghent University. During her studies, Astrid already had a strong interest in real estate law. For her master's thesis, she analyzed the legislation applied in practice to cohousing projects. She also gained practical experience by working in a real estate office, writing legal advisory articles on apartment law, and engaging in the Student Association for Rental Disputes ("Op Krot").
Astrid started her career as a lawyer in 2021 and joined dlpa in 2023. Within the firm, Astrid handles cases in the broad field of real estate law, specifically related to construction and contracting law, leases and tenancies, co-ownership, and apartment law.
