In 2021, Astrid graduated as a master of law at Ghent University. During her studies, Astrid already had a keen interest in real estate law. For instance, in her master's thesis she analysed which legislation is applied in practice in cohousing projects. She also built up practical experience as a student by working in a real estate office, writing legal advice articles on appartment rights and getting involved in the non-profit organization Studentenvereniging voor Huurgeschillen where she provided free legal advice to students on the rental of their accommodation.
Astrid started as a lawyer in 2021 and joined DLPA lawyers in 2023. Within the firm, Astrid handles cases in broad real estate law and more specifically in relation to construction and building law, rent and lease, co-ownership and appartment rights.
